On March 21 – the Spring Equinox, people across North and South America will roll out their mats in unison for a shared experience of Classical Hatha Yoga.

In over 25 cities, across 2 continents, over 2.5 hours, we’ll explore 3 transformative practices to strengthen the body, energize the system, and bring clarity and balance to the mind.

Program Details 

  • Date & Time: March 21, 2026: 8:00 – 10:30 AM 

  • Location: 3085 Hurontario St., Suite 216, Mississauga (across from the Cooksville GO Station).

  • Anyone 12 years and above can join. Angamardana can be practiced by those in good health. No prior experience of yoga is necessary.

  • Angamardana Standing Postures: Dynamic postures to build strength, stability, and flexibility while activating the muscles, organs, joints, and ligaments.

  • Nadi Shuddhi Pranayama: A yogic breathing technique to calm the mind, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve focus and clarity.

  • Chit Shakti Meditation: A guided practice for mental balance, inner calm and creativity.

In this session, you will learn:

Angamardana Standing Practices 

Angamardana, a fitness system rooted in yoga, offers everyone the opportunity to invigorate the body and reach peak physical and mental health. “Angamardana” means gaining complete mastery over the limbs, organs, and other parts of the body. True to its name, this practice revitalizes the body on all levels including the muscular system, skeletal system, circulatory system, nervous system, and the basic energy system.

Angamardana needs no fitness equipment. It uses only the body and can be practiced anywhere, even during travel.
