Angamardana Workshop: July 13 & 14, 2024


Experience the ultimate yogic workout with Angamardana! This powerful practice is taught to the police, paramilitary and border security forces in India due to its all-round fitness and health benefits. 

Angamardana is the most physical of the Isha Hatha Yoga practices and is best suited for those who are in a relatively good level of fitness. No prior experience of yoga is necessary, however it does require a certain stamina, flexibility and fitness ability.

Workshop Details: (Total = 10.5 hours)

Sessions 1 & 2: Saturday, July 13: 8.00 – 11.30 AM & 4.45 – 8.15 PM
Session 3: Sunday, July 14 = 8.00 – 11.30AM
Location: TBD – Either in Brampton or Burlington 

*** All 3 sessions are mandatory to learn the entire sequence and equip you to practice safely on your own. ***

Please Note: You will need to be on an empty stomach condition for each session. This means no main meal within 4 hours before we begin. Once you register for the workshop here, you will receive more details and guidelines by email. You will also receive a full registration form with medical waiver and consent to fill out.


  • Angamardana is suitable for anyone in good health that is aged 14 and above. No prior experience of yoga is necessary.

  • Not suitable for pregnant women or those trying to conceive.

  • Not suitable for those with serious back problems.

  • People who have had surgery within the last 6 months, have back, neck, leg or hip problems or have had an artificial joint replacement, please consult a doctor before registering.

Please Note: The price above is for group workshops (minimum of 4 people). A private workshop in your home is $475, taught in 3 sessions @3.5 hours (total of 10.5 hours).
