Yogasanas Reboot (Beginners Asanas): Demo & Corrections Session: January 3, 2026

In this session, I will take you through all the Beginner’s Asanas, showing you demonstrations, corrections and modifications for all the postures. By the end of this Reboot, you will leave empowered with more balanced and refined postures so you can safely practice on your own again.

This is an opportunity to get back on track with your practice. Once you get your postures corrected, Yogasanas can be incorporated into your daily life.

Practice corrections are vital and encouraged to help you evolve your practice. To get the maximum benefit from your practices, we recommend getting corrections a few times per year.

Session Details

Date & Time: Saturday, January 3: 9.00 am – 12.00 pm 
Location: Equity Square Plaza – 3085 Hurontario St., Suite 216, Mississauga (across the Cooksville GO Station).

Access to the Plaza & Parking:

  • Due to construction on Hurontario Street: If you are driving south of Hillcrest Ave., you will not be able to turn left into the plaza. Please continue to Dundas St., make a U-turn, then head north on Hurontario St. and turn right into the plaza.

  • Once inside the plaza, drive up the ramp to the “2nd Floor Offices” and park near the plaza doors.

  • If you are arriving by cab or public transit, enter on the first floor and take the stairs to the 2nd Floor Offices using the staircase near “Al Nejmah” Foods. (Other landmarks in the plaza include “More Thai” and “Halal Yum” restaurants).

  • If the plaza door is locked, please call me when you arrive to let you in.

  • Note: The road leading up to the 2nd floor has some potholes, so please drive carefully.

Prerequisite: This session is open to those that have learned the Yogasanas practice in a previous workshop.

Advanced Asanas Review: This session does not include a review of the following asanas: Mandukasana, Sarvangasanas Series, Spinal Twist Variations, Mayurasana.  To review these, please Contact Me to arrange a private session.

Description

The word asana literally means a posture. Out of the innumerable asanas a body can assume, 84 have been identified as Yogasanas, through which one can transform the body and mind into a possibility for ultimate well-being. In this beginner’s Yogasanas program, we will be taking you through 22 asanas.

Yogasanas are not exercises, but rather very subtle processes to manipulate one’s energy in a particular direction.

In an untrained state, the human body is a constant manifestation of various levels of compulsiveness. By consciously forming the body into a certain posture, one creates a conducive passage for energy flow that can elevate one’s consciousness.

Yogasanas are a way of aligning the inner system and adjusting it to the celestial geometry, thereby becoming in sync with the existence and naturally achieving a chemistry of healthfulness, joyfulness, blissfulness, and above all, balance.

The practice of Yogasanas provides countless benefits including:
